The TV anime adaptation of Koyoharu Gotōge’s (吾峠呼世晴) hit manga Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba (鬼滅の刃) revealed the 1st trailer and poster for its sequel movie “Demon Slayer: Infinity Train” (鬼滅の刃 無限列車編). The movie is set to premiere on 16th October 2020 in Japan.
The movie adapts the manga’s Demon Train Arc, where Tanjiro, Zenitsu and Inosuke take the Infinity Train in search of Kyojuro Rengoku, the Flame Pillar, who was on a mission to kill a Demon suspected to be the cause for multiple disappearances on the train.
The anime film is a direct sequel of the anime’s first season, with staff and cast reprising their roles. The series is directed by Haruo Sotozaki (外崎春雄) and animated by Ufotable, with scripts by the Ufotable staff .Akira Matsushima (松島晃) is the character designer and animation chef director.
